Our Story
A home rooted
in Konkan
Over three decades of memories, moments and life in this little corner of Dapoli.
Where it began
It started with
a little bungalow
in Konkan
Long before Saraswati Vinayak Villa became a place for guests, it was simply our family's home in Konkan.
More than 25 years ago, our family found a quaint bungalow in Dapoli, built in traditional chira, the distinctive red stone of the Konkan. We fell in love with the place, the surroundings and the slower rhythm of life here.
The villa is named after our grandparents, Saraswati and Vinayak. In May 2025, we thoughtfully renovated the home, adding modern comforts while retaining its character.

A place full of memories
The verandah
has seen hundreds
of gatherings
Long afternoons became evenings filled with music, games, conversations and stargazing.
Some favourite memories are simpler: tea on the verandah, a meal around the table, a spontaneous beach drive, a fresh fish thali, modaks and late-night conversations.

We never really stopped coming back
Every visit adds another memory
Even today, at least one member of our family makes sure to visit every month. The garden grows, the seasons change, the birds return.
Surrounded by nurseries, traditional Konkan wadis and lush greenery, the bungalow is close to Dapoli yet feels away from the bustle.

Then we thought, why keep it just for ourselves?
We wanted to share the feeling our family has cherished for years: time together, space to breathe and the simple pleasure of being in Konkan.
Welcome
Welcome to our family home
