Anjarle
Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Arabian Sea, this ancient temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha offers stunning panoramic views of the hills, sea and Anjarle beach. The idol is unique, with the trunk turned to the right, which is considered especially auspicious. The peaceful atmosphere, cool breeze and scenic beauty make it perfect for a serene morning visit.
Asud
Tucked away in a dense forest near Asud village, this hidden gem dedicated to Lord Vishnu sits amidst natural springs, coconut groves and areca nut plantations. A short, scenic trek through a shaded forest path leads you to the shrine, and the sound of birds and flowing water makes the journey as beautiful as the destination.
Dabhol
Located inside a natural cave in Dabhol, this is one of the region's most unique spiritual spots. The ancient idol of Goddess Chandika is believed to have been self-manifested, and the cool, mysterious cave setting adds a mystical charm. A great stopover while exploring Dabhol's coastal belt.
Burondi
A striking hilltop spot marked by a massive 21-feet tall statue of Lord Parshuram set against the Arabian Sea. It offers breathtaking 360° views of the sea, forests and villages, with a beautifully maintained park-like ambiance, making it a great spot for photography and peaceful sunset moments.
Harne
A bustling little fishing port known for its lively fish auctions and scenic sea views. Early mornings are a treat, with colorful boats returning and fresh catch being sorted and sold, and you can even spot the old sea forts in the distance. Perfect for a casual evening stroll or photography by the jetty.
Panhale Kaji
History and nature meet at this cluster of ancient rock-cut Buddhist and Hindu caves along the banks of the Kotjai River. Dating back to the 3rd century, the caves are adorned with carvings, sculptures and inscriptions. It is a peaceful day-trip spot for history buffs and nature lovers alike.
Panchnadi
A charming, typical Konkani village known for its serene dam, winding narrow roads and lush green wadis. The dam is a popular picnic spot among locals, offering beautiful reflections of the surrounding hills and coconut groves. Time slows down here, which makes it perfect for experiencing authentic rural Konkan.
Murud · Karde · Ladghar · Kolthare
Murud Beach is known for its clean sands and calm waters, perfect for peaceful morning walks. Karde is a favorite for water sports and dolphin spotting, while Ladghar comes alive in the evenings with gorgeous sunsets and colorful shacks.
